Job Description

A Geographic Data Specialist in Japan collects, analyzes, and manages spatial and geographic data for various applications, including urban planning, environmental monitoring, transportation, and business development. They use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and mapping software to process and visualize data, providing insights to support decision-making.

Working Hours

  • Standard: 40 hours per week

  • Typical schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

  • Overtime: May be required for project deadlines or fieldwork

  • Occasional field visits for data collection may occur
