Job Description

A Philosophy Journalist in Japan researches, writes, and reports on topics related to philosophy, ethics, culture, and intellectual discourse.

This role combines investigative research, critical thinking, and strong writing skills. In Japan, cultural awareness, academic rigor, and clarity of communication are highly valued.

Philosophy Journalists educate the public, foster intellectual discussion, and contribute to the dissemination of philosophical knowledge in Japan

Working Hours

  • Standard: 40 hours per week

  • Typical schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

  • Overtime: May be required for deadlines, interviews, or event coverage
