Job Description

An IT Bridge Engineer acts as a communication link between Japanese clients and offshore development teams (often in countries like India, Vietnam, or China).

The main role is to bridge the gap in language, culture, and technical understanding between both sides. They ensure that project requirements from Japanese clients are clearly understood and properly implemented by the development team.

Working Hours in Japan

  • Standard: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  • Typical timing: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Required Skills

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of:
    • Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
    • Programming (Java, Python, etc.)
    • System architecture
    • Database basics (SQL)

Communication Skills:

  • Strong Japanese communication (speaking & writing)
  • Ability to explain technical topics in simple language
  • Client handling skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate client requirements from Japanese customers to offshore teams
