A Nursing Care Worker or Caregiver in Japan provides daily support and assistance to elderly or disabled individuals in nursing homes, hospitals, or private residences. The caregiver helps patients with personal care, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and emotional support while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Usually 8 hours per shift
Rotational shifts (morning, evening, night)
40 hours per week on average
Overtime may be required
Patient care and assistance skills
