Job Description

An Aviation Maintenance Technician in Japan is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft to ensure their safety, reliability, and compliance with Japanese aviation standards. Technicians work on aircraft engines, avionics, hydraulics, landing gears, and other systems. They also perform preventive maintenance and ensure that aircraft meet operational standards before flights.

Working Hours

  • Typically 8 hours per day

  • Around 40 hours per week

  • Shift work may occur depending on airline or maintenance schedule

  • Overtime may be required during urgent maintenance or seasonal peak periods
