Job Description

A Well Drilling Worker or Drilling Technician in Japan is responsible for operating drilling equipment to drill water wells, geothermal wells, or construction-related boreholes. The role involves preparing drilling sites, maintaining drilling machinery, and ensuring safety and efficiency during operations. Workers may also assist in soil testing, well casing installation, and post-drilling maintenance.

Working Hours

  • Typically 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

  • Overtime may be required depending on project deadlines

  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions

  • Physically demanding labor including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods

Required Skills

  • Operation of drilling rigs and equipment

  • Knowledge of drilling techniques and safety procedures

Key Responsibilities
