A Plasterer or Wall Finishing Technician in Japan is responsible for applying plaster, cement, or other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, and surfaces of buildings to achieve smooth and durable finishes. The technician prepares surfaces, applies materials evenly, and ensures high-quality interior and exterior finishes according to construction plans and Japanese building standards.
Typically 8 hours per day
Around 40 hours per week

Work may be indoors or outdoors depending on the project
Application of plaster, cement, or finishing materials
Surface preparation and smoothing techniques
Ability to use tools such as trowels, floats, plaster mixers, and sanders
