A Sash Installer or Window Frame Technician in Japan is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining window frames, glass panels, and sashes in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The technician ensures that window assemblies are properly fitted, sealed, and functional according to Japanese building standards and safety regulations.
Typically 8 hours per day

Overtime may occur during project deadlines
Work may be indoors or outdoors, and sometimes at heights
Installation of window frames, sashes, and glass panels
Knowledge of different materials: wood, aluminum, vinyl, and composite frames
Ability to measure, cut, and fit components precisely
Use of tools such as screwdrivers, drills, levels, hammers, and glass suction tools
Knowledge of sealing, insulation, and weatherproofing techniques
Attention to detail and finishing quality

Measure and prepare openings for window installation
