Job Description

A Bread Making Worker or Bakery Production Technician in Japan is responsible for preparing, mixing, baking, and packaging bread and bakery products in commercial bakeries or food production facilities. The role ensures adherence to hygiene, food safety, and quality standards while maintaining an efficient production process.

Working Hours

  • Typically 8 hours per day

  • Around 40 hours per week

  • Overtime may occur during peak production periods or special orders

  • Work is mostly indoors in bakery or production facilities

Required Skills

  • Measuring, mixing, kneading, and shaping dough

  • Operating ovens and bakery machinery

  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations

  • Attention to detail for quality and consistency

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare dough using standard recipes and ingredients

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment

  • Follow safety and food hygiene regulations

  • Record production data and assist supervisors with reporting

  • Coordinate with team members to meet daily production targets
