An Agricultural Pickles Processing Worker is responsible for the preparation, processing, preservation, and packaging of pickled vegetables and fruits. The role involves cleaning, slicing, salting, fermenting, and packaging agricultural produce according to quality and hygiene standards. Workers ensure the final products meet safety and taste standards for distribution in the market. Knowledge of food safety regulations and fermentation techniques is valuable.
40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)
Monday to Friday.
Typical shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with potential overtime during peak production.
Knowledge of agricultural produce handling and preservation techniques
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to operate processing and packaging machines
Attention to detail and quality control
Physical stamina for long hours of standing and repetitive tasks
Teamwork and communication skills
Basic understanding of fermentation/pickling processes.
Clean, wash, and prepare vegetables and fruits for pickling
Slice, salt, ferment, or marinate agricultural produce according to recipes
Monitor fermentation and preservation processes
Package finished pickles with proper labeling
Ensure hygiene and safety standards are followed at all times
Maintain and clean equipment and work areas
Keep records of production batches, quality checks, and storage
Assist in storage and transportation of finished products.
