A Dyeing Worker is responsible for coloring fabrics, yarns, or textiles using chemical or natural dyes. The role involves preparing dye solutions, operating dyeing machines, monitoring color consistency, and ensuring fabric quality. Workers must follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and ensure that dyed products meet quality and color standards for manufacturing or distribution.
40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)
Monday to Friday, though some factories may require shift work or weekend shifts
Typical shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or rotating shifts
Knowledge of textile dyeing techniques and chemicals
Ability to operate dyeing machines safely and efficiently
Attention to detail to maintain consistent color quality
Understanding of safety protocols and chemical handling
Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
Teamwork and communication skills
Prepare fabrics and dye solutions according to specifications
Operate dyeing machines for yarns or fabrics
Monitor and adjust color, temperature, and time to ensure consistency
Inspect dyed textiles for color quality and defects
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
Follow all safety and hygiene regulations
Maintain records of dyeing batches and production outputs
