Job Description

A Linen Supply Worker is responsible for managing, cleaning, sorting, and distributing linen products such as bed sheets, towels, uniforms, and tablecloths for hotels, hospitals, or other facilities. The role involves operating laundry equipment, inspecting linen quality, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining inventory. Workers must follow hygiene and safety standards while coordinating with housekeeping, hospital, or hotel staff.

Working Hours

  • 40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)

  • Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or night shifts depending on facility requirements

  • Typical shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, some facilities may require early morning or evening shifts

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of linen care, washing, and textile handling

  • Ability to operate industrial washing, drying, and ironing equipment

  • Attention to detail for inspecting quality and maintaining hygiene standards

  • Physical stamina for lifting, sorting, and moving linen

  • Basic record-keeping and inventory management skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold linen according to facility standards

  • Inspect linen for damage or stains and perform minor repairs if needed

  • Maintain inventory of linen stock and ensure timely distribution to departments

  • Operate industrial laundry machines and maintain cleanliness of work area

  • Follow hygiene and safety guidelines to prevent contamination

  • Assist in organizing linen supply schedules for hotels, hospitals, or other facilities

  • Report damaged items, shortages, or maintenance needs to supervisors

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, medical, or hospitality staff to ensure smooth operations
