Job Description

An Architectural Design Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and developing building structures while ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with construction regulations. They create architectural drawings, technical plans, and 3D models for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Architectural Design Engineers work closely with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and clients to turn design ideas into practical construction plans. They also review building materials, structural elements, and project requirements to ensure the design meets engineering standards and local building codes.

Their work includes preparing design layouts, analyzing structural stability, supervising construction progress, and modifying designs when necessary to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Typical working hours for an Architectural Design Engineer in Japan are:
