Job Description

A Production / Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the manufacturing processes of products in industries such as automotive, electronics, machinery, and consumer goods. They ensure efficient production, high-quality output, cost control, and safety compliance.

These engineers analyze production workflows, implement process improvements, and supervise assembly lines. They work closely with design, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure that products are manufactured according to specifications, on schedule, and within budget.

Typical working hours:

  • 8 hours per day

  • 40 hours per week

 Schedule:

  • 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (including 1-hour lunch)

Overtime:
May be required to meet production deadlines or during plant maintenance. Overtime is usually paid according to Japanese labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan and optimize production workflows and assembly processes.

  5. Coordinate with design, quality, and maintenance teams.

  6. Monitor production metrics and prepare performance reports.

  7. Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and implement solutions.

  8. Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.

  9. Plan production schedules and resource allocation.

  10. Train staff on manufacturing processes and best practices.
