Job Description

A Construction Management Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects. They ensure that buildings, infrastructure, and civil engineering projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to Japanese construction standards and regulations.

They work closely with architects, contractors, engineers, government authorities, and construction workers to manage project progress and maintain quality.

Typical working hours in Japan are:

  • 8 hours per day

  • 40 hours per week

  •  schedule:

8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (including 1-hour break)

Overtime may occur during major construction phases or project deadlines.
