Job Description

A Corporate Communications professional in Japan is responsible for managing a company’s internal and external communication. They ensure that the company’s message, brand image, and reputation are consistent and positive. They ensure that all messages shared with employees, media, and the public are clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s values.

They work closely with senior management, marketing teams, and media organizations to communicate important information such as company updates, press releases, and public announcements.

They handle media relations, press releases, internal communications, and public announcements. In Japan, professionalism, clear communication, and cultural awareness are very important in this role.

Working Hours

  • Standard: 40 hours per week

  • Typical schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

  • Overtime: May be required during events, press releases, or crisis situations

  • Occasional weekend work for corporate events
