An Automobile Repair and Maintenance Technician in Japan is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles including cars, trucks, and commercial vehicles. Technicians ensure vehicles are safe, functional, and compliant with Japanese safety standards. The role may include engine repair, electrical troubleshooting, brake and transmission servicing, and preventive maintenance.
Typically 8 hours per day

Shift work may occur in large workshops or service centers
