Bachelor’s degree in: Environmental Science, Climate Science, Public Policy, Economics
Climate Policy Researchers study climate change issues and develop policies to reduce environmental impact. They analyze data, evaluate government policies, and provide recommendations to support sustainable development and carbon reduction goals.
Standard: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Weekly: 40–45 hours
Overtime: Occasionally during deadlines, reports, or policy submissions
Work style: Mostly office-based or research-based
Strong research and analytical skills
Knowledge of climate policies and environmental laws
Data analysis (statistics, modeling tools)
Policy writing and report preparation
Understanding of global frameworks (e.g., carbon markets, climate agreements)
Communication and presentation skills
English proficiency (Japanese is highly preferred)
Conduct research on climate change and environmental policies
Analyze government regulations and international agreements
Develop policy recommendations for sustainability
Prepare reports, policy briefs, and academic papers
Collaborate with government bodies, NGOs, and organizations
Monitor climate data and environmental trends
Support development of carbon reduction strategies
