A Cultivation Worker in Japan is responsible for planting, tending, and harvesting crops in fields, greenhouses, or farms. Workers help maintain soil quality, water plants, apply fertilizers or pesticides, and assist in crop production to ensure high-quality agricultural output. The role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail to maintain productivity and quality standards.
Typically 8 hours per day
Around 40 hours per week
Work may start early in the morning
Overtime may be required during planting or harvest seasons
Physical labor outdoors is common, sometimes in extreme weather conditions
Planting, watering, and harvesting crops
Knowledge of soil management and crop care
Ability to operate basic farm tools and machinery
