An Accommodation Staff member is responsible for providing excellent service to guests at hotels, inns, or other lodging facilities. The role includes managing check-ins and check-outs, cleaning and preparing rooms, handling guest requests, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring a comfortable and safe stay for all guests. Workers maintain high standards of hygiene, customer service, and facility management.
40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)
Shift work required, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
Typical shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM depending on hotel operations
Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest services
Ability to operate booking systems and basic office software
Attention to detail for cleaning, room preparation, and guest satisfaction
Communication skills in Japanese and preferably English
Ability to work in shifts and adapt to varying workloads
Teamwork and problem-solving skills
Physical stamina for cleaning and carrying supplies
Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out
Clean and prepare guest rooms, including bedding and amenities
Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in common areas
Assist in booking, reservations, and room assignments
Coordinate with other hotel departments (housekeeping, front desk, maintenance)
Follow safety, hygiene, and service quality standards
Keep records of room usage, guest requests, and inventory
