An Agricultural Worker in Japan is responsible for planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, as well as caring for livestock and maintaining farm facilities. Workers assist in daily farm operations, including irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and machinery operation. This role ensures efficient production while following Japanese agricultural standards and safety regulations.
Typically 8 hours per day
Around 40 hours per week, sometimes longer during peak season
Early morning starts are common
Overtime may be required during harvest or planting seasons
Knowledge of crop cultivation and farm maintenance
Ability to operate hand tools and farm machinery
Basic understanding of irrigation and fertilization
