Air and Water Quality Compliance professionals ensure that industries, factories, and organizations follow environmental regulations related to air emissions and water discharge.
They monitor pollution levels, conduct testing, and make sure companies comply with Japanese environmental laws and international standards. Their work helps protect public health and the environment.
Working hours:
Standard: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Weekly: 40–45 hours
Overtime: Possible during inspections, audits, or reporting deadlines
Work type: Combination of office work + field inspections
Knowledge of air and water pollution laws (Japan regulations)
Sampling and laboratory testing skills
Data analysis and environmental monitoring
Understanding of emission standards and wastewater treatment
Technical report writing
Communication skills (English required; Japanese preferred)
Use of monitoring equipment and software
Monitor air emissions and water quality levels
Conduct field sampling and laboratory analysis
Ensure compliance with environmental laws and permits
