Job Description

A Construction / Site Engineer is responsible for supervising construction projects and ensuring that building work is carried out according to engineering designs, safety standards, and project schedules. They manage on-site activities, coordinate with workers and contractors, and monitor construction progress.

Site Engineers play an important role in ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently while maintaining quality and safety. They also solve technical problems that arise during construction and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

Typical working hours are:

  • 8 hours per day

  • 40–48 hours per week

Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with lunch break)

Construction projects may require overtime or weekend work during critical phases.

Key Responsibilities

Construction / Site Engineers usually perform the following tasks:

  1. Supervise daily construction activities at the site.

  5. Inspect materials and ensure quality standards.
