A Fixture Maker or Tooling and Fixture Technician in Japan is responsible for designing, manufacturing, assembling, and maintaining fixtures, jigs, and tooling used in manufacturing and machining processes. These tools help hold and position workpieces accurately during production, ensuring precision and efficiency in industrial operations.
Typically 8 hours per day
Around 40 hours per week
Shift work may occur in manufacturing plants

Ability to operate machines such as CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and grinders
