An Import/Export Coordinator in Japan is responsible for managing the movement of goods between countries. They handle shipping documentation, coordinate with suppliers and transport companies, and ensure that all import and export activities follow international trade laws and Japanese regulations.
They play an important role in ensuring that goods are delivered on time, costs are controlled, and customs procedures are completed correctly. In Japan, accuracy, organization, and strong communication are very important.
Standard: 40 hours per week
Typical schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Overtime: May be required during shipment deadlines
Occasional weekend work depending on shipment schedules
