An Industrial Packaging Worker is responsible for packaging finished products in factories before they are transported to warehouses, retailers, or customers. The role involves preparing packaging materials, operating packaging machines, labeling products, sealing packages, and ensuring that goods are packed securely to prevent damage during transportation. Workers also inspect products for quality and follow safety and packaging standards required by the company.
40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)
Monday to Friday
Typical shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or rotating shifts
Overtime may be required during high production periods
Knowledge of industrial packaging methods and materials
Ability to operate packaging machines and labeling equipment
Attention to detail for accurate labeling and secure packaging
Physical stamina for lifting and handling products
Basic understanding of safety and quality control standards
Teamwork and communication skills
Prepare packaging materials such as boxes, wrapping materials, and labels
Pack finished products securely to prevent damage during transportation
Operate packaging machines for sealing, wrapping, and labeling
Inspect products and packaging for defects or damage
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area
Follow company safety and quality guidelines
Assist in loading packaged products for shipment
Maintain records of packaged goods and report issues to supervisors
