Job Description

An Information Security Analyst is responsible for protecting an organization’s computer systems and networks from cyber threats. The role involves monitoring security incidents, implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with security policies. Information Security Analysts work to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyberattacks, while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

Working Hours

  • 40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)

  • Monday to Friday

  • Typical shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption techniques

  • Knowledge of risk assessment, vulnerability scanning, and security policies

  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and threat analysis

  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and proactive approach to security threats

  • Communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze security incidents and alerts

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses

  • Implement and maintain security tools, firewalls, and encryption methods

  • Develop and enforce information security policies and procedures

  • Investigate security breaches and recommend corrective actions

  • Collaborate with IT teams to secure networks, systems, and applications

  • Stay updated on cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices

  • Prepare reports and documentation on security measures and incidents
