Job Description

A Men’s Suit Tailoring Worker is responsible for designing, cutting, stitching, and finishing men’s suits. This includes formal jackets, trousers, vests, and other suit components. The worker ensures precise measurements, quality stitching, proper lining, and finishing touches. The role may also involve alterations, fitting sessions, and quality inspections to meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Working Hours

  • 40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)

  • Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work for high-demand periods

  • Typical shifts: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with possible overtime

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of men’s suit construction and tailoring techniques

  • Ability to read and follow patterns and measurement specifications

  • Precision stitching and finishing skills

  • Fabric knowledge, including wool, cotton, and blends

  • Time management and ability to meet production targets

  • Attention to detail and quality assurance

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut fabrics according to men’s suit patterns

  • Stitch and assemble jackets, trousers, vests, and linings

  • Perform hand stitching and finishing for quality garments

  • Inspect finished suits for quality and accuracy

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation

  • Follow safety, quality, and hygiene guidelines
