Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science or Materials Engineering
Metallurgical Testing & Quality Control professionals analyze metals and alloys to ensure they meet strength, durability, and safety standards. They conduct material testing, inspect production processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Standard: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Weekly: 40–45 hours
Overtime: Possible during production deadlines or quality audits
Metallurgical testing methods (tensile, hardness, impact, fatigue tests)
Non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques
Knowledge of metals, alloys, and heat treatment processes
Failure analysis and root cause investigation
Statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement methods
Technical report writing and documentation
Laboratory and production safety compliance
Communication skills(English required; Japanese preferred)
Conduct metallurgical tests and inspections on raw materials and finished products
Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards
Perform failure analysis and recommend corrective actions
Maintain laboratory equipment and calibrate instruments
Ensure compliance with ISO and industry-specific quality standards
Collaborate with production, design, and engineering teams
Prepare technical reports and quality documentation
Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes
