A Precast Concrete Manufacturing Worker is responsible for producing precast concrete elements such as beams, slabs, panels, pipes, and other structural components used in construction. The role involves mixing concrete, pouring it into molds, curing, finishing, inspecting, and preparing products for shipment. Workers must ensure dimensional accuracy, structural quality, and compliance with safety and construction standards.
40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)
Monday to Friday, with some factories requiring shift work
Typical shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or rotating shifts, occasional overtime during high-demand periods
Knowledge of precast concrete production processes and curing techniques
Ability to operate concrete mixing, molding, and finishing equipment
Attention to detail for dimensions, quality, and surface finishing
Physical stamina for handling materials and heavy components
Awareness of workplace safety procedures and regulations
Teamwork and communication skills
Prepare and mix concrete according to specifications
Pour concrete into molds and ensure proper compaction and curing
Monitor curing process and perform finishing on precast elements
Inspect finished products for defects, accuracy, and quality standards
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment
Assist in packaging and transporting precast elements for shipment
Follow safety, quality, and production guidelines strictly
