Job Description

A Reinforcing Bar Worker (Rebar Technician) in Japan is responsible for preparing, cutting, bending, and installing steel reinforcing bars used in concrete structures. These bars strengthen buildings, bridges, roads, and other infrastructure. The technician works on construction sites to ensure that reinforced concrete structures meet engineering and safety standards.

Working Hours

  • Typically 8 hours per day

  • Around 40 hours per week

  • Overtime may occur during large construction projects

  • Work is usually outdoors and may involve physically demanding tasks

Required Skills
