A Rubber Product Manufacturing Worker is responsible for producing rubber goods such as tires, seals, gaskets, hoses, mats, and other rubber components. The role involves operating rubber molding machines, mixing raw materials, monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, and ensuring that the final products meet specifications and safety standards. Workers may also assist in maintenance of equipment and packaging of finished products.
40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)
Monday to Friday, some factories may require shift work
Typical shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or rotating shifts, with occasional overtime during peak production
Knowledge of rubber processing and molding techniques
Ability to operate and maintain rubber manufacturing machines
Attention to detail to ensure product quality and specifications
Physical stamina for standing and handling materials
Awareness of safety procedures in industrial manufacturing
Teamwork and communication skills
Prepare raw rubber materials and mix according to production requirements
Operate molding, extrusion, and finishing machines
Monitor production processes and adjust machines as needed
Inspect finished rubber products for defects, quality, and dimensional accuracy
Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of machinery
Package finished products for storage or shipment
Follow safety, quality, and production guidelines
Maintain production records and report issues to supervisors
