A Scaffolder or Scaffolding Technician in Japan is responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures used in construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. These temporary structures provide safe access and support for workers and materials at elevated heights. The technician ensures that scaffolding systems are stable, secure, and compliant with safety standards.
Typically 8 hours per day
Around 40 hours per week
Overtime may occur during major construction projects
Work is usually outdoors and often involves working at heights
Assembly and dismantling of scaffolding structures
Ability to use construction tools and equipment
