A Social Research Assistant in Japan supports research projects related to social, economic, or community issues. They help collect, organize, and analyze data, assist in preparing reports, and provide support to senior researchers.
This role often involves fieldwork, surveys, interviews, and data entry. In Japan, precision, professionalism, and strong organizational skills are important, as research often requires accuracy and attention to detail.
Standard: 40 hours per week
Typical schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Overtime: Occasionally required during data collection or report deadlines
