A Spinning Operation Worker is responsible for operating spinning machines to convert raw fibers such as cotton, wool, or synthetic fibers into yarn or thread. The role involves monitoring machine performance, ensuring yarn quality, maintaining production efficiency, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Workers may also perform minor machine maintenance and assist in inventory management of raw materials.
40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)
Monday to Friday, with some factories requiring shift work or weekend shifts
Typical shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or shift-based schedules
Knowledge of spinning machines and textile production processes
Ability to monitor and maintain yarn quality
Basic mechanical skills for machine maintenance
Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
Physical stamina for standing and repetitive tasks
Teamwork and communication skills
Operate spinning machines to convert fibers into yarn
Monitor production speed, quality, and machine performance
Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent yarn quality
Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of machines
