Surface Coatings Engineers develop and apply protective and functional coatings on materials such as metals, plastics, and composites. These coatings improve corrosion resistance, wear resistance, heat resistance, and appearance.

Standard: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Weekly: 40–45 hours
Overtime: Possible during production deadlines or testing phases
Knowledge of coating materials (paints, polymers, thin films, nanocoatings)
Surface treatment techniques (electroplating, anodizing, thermal spraying)
