A Weaving Operation Worker is responsible for operating weaving machines to convert yarn into fabric. This role involves monitoring machine performance, ensuring fabric quality, performing minor machine adjustments, and maintaining production efficiency. Workers must follow safety guidelines, check for defects in the woven fabric, and assist in preparing finished products for further processing or packaging.
40 hours per week (standard full-time schedule)
Monday to Friday, though some factories may require shift work or weekend shifts
Typical shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or rotating shift schedules
Knowledge of weaving machines and textile production processes
Ability to monitor fabric quality and detect defects
Basic mechanical skills for minor machine maintenance
Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
Physical stamina for standing and repetitive tasks
Teamwork and communication skills
Operate weaving machines to produce fabric from yarn
Monitor production speed and fabric quality
Adjust machine settings to ensure consistent weaving
Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of machines
Inspect finished fabric for defects or inconsistencies
